Buying something online from 7dials
How do I buy a product?
When you are ready to buy something just click add to basket. You can view the contents of your basket at anytime by clicking on 'View Basket' at the top of the page. Click on 'Start Checkout' whenever you are ready to pay.
You will then have your order confirmed on screen along with confirmation that your payment has been processed.
What is in my shopping basket?
If you are buying more than one item, you can view your basket and its contents by pressing 'View Basket'. When you View Basket you can add or remove items from your basket or change the quantity.
How do I know you have received my order?
You will receive confirmation via email once your order has been placed through our website or your order and the amount paid.
Cancelling my order
To cancel an order after you have paid for it please Contact Us immediately. If your goods have not been dispatched you will be refunded any amount paid. If your goods have been dispatched, please follow the steps on the Returns page.
What do you do once I have placed my order?
On receiving your order we carefully check the goods to ensure they are in perfect condition and package them ready for postage. If for any reason we cannot fulfill your order we will contact you immediately. Once your purchases have been posted you will then receive another email confirming that your goods are in transit.
How long does postage take?

Delivery and returns

Using voucher/discount codes
At the checkout you can enter any voucher discount code. Once accepted, the relevant discount will be taken off the total value of your goods before payment is processed. The discount does not apply to postage or gift wrapping.

Our Payment Service Provider is Sage Pay (formerly Protx) - the largest independent payment service provider (PSP) in the UK and Ireland. Sage Pay provides a secure payment gateway (Level 1 PCI DSS), processing payments for thousands of online businesses, including ours. It is Sage Pay's utmost priority to ensure that transaction data is handled in a safe and secure way.
Sage Pay uses a range secure methods such as fraud screening, I.P address blocking and 3D secure. Once on the Sage Pay systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards.
Sage Pay is PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliant to the highest level and maintains regular security audits. They are also regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure that their systems are impenetrable.
Sage Pay is an active member of the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.
In addition, you know that your session is in a secure encrypted environment when you see https:// in the web address, and/or when you see the locked padlock symbol alongside the URL.
So when buying through our site, you can be sure that you are completely protected.

Cookies
We will store a persistent cookie so that you may retrieve the products in your shopping baset with no need to go through re-choosing all of them again. However, the cookie will eventually expire if there is no activity in your cart, e.g. view, add to, etc., for a number of days. This website's cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information. If a you reject the cookie, you may still use our site, but you will experience limited functionality in some areas of our site. For example, you will not be able to process an order through our shopping checkout area.
Personal information
We ask for information from you so that we can process your order and ensure you receive the goods and to ensure you receive the best possible service.
We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office in the UK (registration number: PZ2356798) and comply to their standards of data protection including not retaining personal information relating to any person unnecessarily.
If you have added your name to our mailing list you are given a chance to remove your name from this list during each mailing.
We do not sell or share your personal information with any other person, company or organisation for any purpose.
Price promise
We strive to offer value for money. As well as making sure our prices are competitive we also make sure that our store and online store are easy to shop in and as friendly as possible. We aim to offer a level of service that you just could not get from a large chain with call centres, helplines or similar shops with a focus on expansion. So one promise we make is that we will endeavor to match any John Lewis price where we do stock matching items. We will also endeavor to match any price of identical items that you find elsewhere on the high street that are not part of any sale or special offer. We will not always be able to beat items sold on auction websites or elsewhere online but neither will they give you the peace of mind and service that we give. Stock
We cannot guarantee to carry all the items permanently in stock although we do our very best to keep stock levels up to date on the web site. If an item is out of stock we will advise you of an anticipated delivery date and place the order and check that this still suits your wants and needs.
Wedding lists
You can expand your wedding list and give people the choice to buy a wide range of gifts for your special day that are difficult to find on the High Street or are not stocked by some of the larger chains.
